help for force.com ide

when ever i want to run or debug  the apex code  in force.com ide get an following window

 

 

with an error 

 

the selection cannot be launched, their is no recant launcher

 

any idea to solve this problem

Have you tried the debug logs generated by the system?

Any specific reason why you want to use the IDE for debugging as youcan very well meet your requirements by making use of system log as you run your code.

my aim is to check the apex code step by step so that i can take out the error 

 

as we do in visual studio 2008  we press f5 to do step by step debugging 

so i need ur help that i sholud use system log or force.com ide to do this 

 

if you r providing me the solution please give me the step to do that
