Apex Class Vs Components ?

What is the difference between the apex class & components ?

Why to use components & as i feel that entire reusability things can also be achieved by the apex class ?

Apex Class and Components are two different element in force.com.

 

Components are used for User interface purpose

Apex Class used for to implement business logic.

 

am i clear with the statement.
