Data Type Conversion

Hi All,

         Can we convert an existing picklist type into Lookup type ?If yes than how we can do that.Can anybody give me

         detailes process.

I dont think you can modify the existing field type to look up data type, you have to delete the existing one and create the new one with lookup data type
