Force.com IDE download links broken
The links on this page are broken:
http://www.adnsandbox.com/tools/ide/install/
The two windows links both give me a file which stops downloading before its full size has come down. A wonderful first impression of the platform for new developers!
Cheers,
Eliot.
Installing the plugin into an existing Eclipse installation doesn't work either:
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=epp.package.jee, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
Problems downloading artifact: osgi.bundle,com.salesforce.ide.documentation,24.0.0.201202291629.
MD5 hash is not as expected. Expected: 6d87eb2e76e7e19f7b709682e5272dfc and found d49fbb3aef8947495c7cbc7bc26cd285.
I too am having these issues. Any one got a fix for this or an alternative place to download the standalone IDE??
Did you try the 32bit or 64bit installer?
I was trying to install a 32bit Windows 7 force.com IDE environment today, but the 32bit installer ended up putting me in a Eclipse installation program, not the workspace I'm used to.
In the first place I kept getting a corrupt file downloaded, I ended up using my FTP client (Total Commander) to download the link, which did give me a file that executed without errors.
The 64bit install on the other hand went as it should. I did also download that using Total Commander, so I would not be able to say if there is a general problem downloading or not.
The files I downloaded just now (May 1st):
64bit: http://ge.tt/1bLZG4H
32bit: http://ge.tt/2t6EG4H
Best regards
Nicolai
Can you post download links again? The files have been removed.
Thanks!
