Integration....

Hi ,

This is swamy...and i want to know some integration part and details...how many types of integration are there...and 
Is it possiable to do integration on Professional edition?
If yes, tell me the some limitations and considerations...plz....

We can have various editions in salesforce. All editions are supporting to integrate with other applications like .net and java.

 

 

For limitations please go with the governing limits of salesforce.

The way of Integration is depend on your API (Enterprise, Partner, Metadata, Oauth,Rest, Soap .. etc).

 

I am not clear about your Questions reg to how many integrations.

 

It supports all the integrations like,

 

1. Facebook to salesforce viceversa

2. .net to salesforce viceversa

3. java to salesforce. viceversa .

4. salesforce to Android .. etc.

It is depending on the tool that you selelcted for integration.

Iam using salesforce professional edition and iam integrating salesforce with java platform and viceversa......So,which API is the best suitable.....and which tool is the best ....

We can do with any Rest API (or) OAuth (or) partner API (or) Enterprise API.

 

I m not sure the best one.

 

But i preffered REST API in my application.
