Eg: Campaign and campaign member ......Campaign:: parent....Campaign member:: child... Where ever u see crow feet(3 lines) attached its kind of a child. I would recommend you to go through basic data base concepts..and then lookup/master detail relation ships then you will understand all of the above relation ships.
