Can I use Apex data loader with Windows 2008 Server (64bit)?

Can I use Apex data loader with Windows 2008 Server? I don't find any documentation which says that Apex data loader is compatible with 2008 server. Has anyone use this? and what are the opinions on using data loader on 64 bit machine, does this work fine without any issues?

Yes, it can run on Server 2008 and Windows 8. I have a 64-bit OS myself and have no problems running it.

Let me know if you have any problems, I think I still have my college Windows Server 2008 virtual disk that I can boot from, if you need further help.

Hi, we have installed Dataloader 37.0 on our Windows Server 2008 R2 system. Have also worked on some *.bat files to automate some batch records loading process, but we get an error that says the path where the process-conf is located, has not been found. We've checked the path by using the file Explorer and it is certainly found correctly. Do you have any idea what the cause could be or is there any OS limitation to run this process?
