Turn off Auto Assignment Rules

Hi,

 

I got a request from the user to turn off an auto assignment rule which is present on Leads. How can I do that?

Virija,

 

You can deactivate the assignement rules.Please follow the below process  : 

 

 

Setup > customize > Leads > Assignement rules > <Select your assignment rules> 

 

Then,uncheck the Active check box associated to it.

You might just change the page layout (Setup > Customize > Leads > Page Layout), which will affect just users that have that layout assigned to them. If you turn off the entire rule, as above, your web to lead leads won't be assigned.
