Help on Profiles

Hi,

 

My account object have certain record types and also the page has been customized.

 

My requirement is for Profile A : He should be able to view the standard Account layout

And for profile B: He should view the customized Account Object.

 

Is it Possible??

in the page layout assignment u have to mention the record type for profile A and profile B. Hope this will help to solve ur issue.

Hi,

 

Yes you can implement this by assigning the pagelayouts to Record types and the assign records types to respective profiles.

yes rabi, this is possible -

 

You can assign record type A  to user A through profile : assign normal page layour to record type A and user A will see that.

 

Assign custom page layout (VF) page to record type B and assign this record type to user B through profile
