delete a custom tab from managed beta package

I have uploaded managed beta package.

Now i want to delete a custom tab and custom field from that package.

Even on deprecating the uploaded version i am  unable to delete them.

As it is beta only , i should able to delete them.

Can anyone suggest what to do?

 If these are new component added in the beta release then you can only delete those otherwise It will not be possible.

means in no way i can delete those components.

I think there is no way to delete component in managed package.

Ok.

So will it be right approach to delete the package and create again , leaving the components which i want to delete.
