Regarding usage of Standard & Custom Functionality together

thanx for ur help but i got the answer.

I was using different objects in visualforce page in a single <Form> tag.thats why its not allowing me to do so

but now its working as i tried with different <Form> Tags.

can you post a simplified example of your code that shows the problem , perhaps just using one or two fields from each object?
