Creating Events that span days

Hi,
 Is there a way to create events in Salesforce that are longer than a day. Currently, when I create an event it has no provision to create one that lasts more than a day?

as far as I know this is not possible -.- Each event has to be created day by day.

I have solved that problem (ugly as it may be) by simply using the recurring event option at the bottom of the page. I know this is not ideal, and you cannot add multi-day events from Outlook into SF.... but this should get the job done.

Is this still the case in the latest version 3 of the Outlook connector?  I have a client who is still using Ver 2 and I'm curious if version 3 fixes this.

I just tested Outlook connector 3.1.2 and it will not create multi-day events.
