Getting Error on Outlook 2007 - Only Administrator can Connect or Disconnect the Salesforce Plugin

Thx, But I think I have screwed up it even more.

 

By mistake I removed the Salesforce Add-in to Outlook, now I go to OUtlook--> Tools-> Trust Center-> Add-ins

 

and try to enable the SF Add-i, I get error that since Sforce was install for all users...this option can only be Connected or Disconnected by an Administrator, funny part is I (user)  am the administrator  on the Vista machine..

 

ANyone seen this..

 

I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook SF integrator plugin but still same error.

I was having the same problemand I found this in a 2006 posting -- and it worked perfectly:

 

Try re-installing the Outlook Edition, but do not accept the default location the program wants to install the application into on your computer. Instead, choose a different location or folder to store the program. Works for me every time.
