Salesforce offline error message

I installed Salesforce offline today on my portable. When I try to connect, I get the following error message:

 

 

The funny thing is that a week ago I managed to connect to the offline-application without any problem. But today I deleted and re-installed it and since then the error message keeps popping up every time I try to connect.

 

Anyone knows what might be the problem?

Any solution to this? We are getting this error as well.

 

This started happening for our admin users during testing after we installed Offline, used it successfully, then uninstalled Offline, and then re-installed it. After doing this, this error now comes up when trying to start the Offline app -- after logging in, the startup app seems to download the appropriate data, then launches IE to access the data/UI pages. That's when this error comes up -- in IE before any of the pages have been loaded.

We found we could get past this error message by checking the "Update tab names" and "Synchronize my data" checkboxes when logging in to Offline.
