swrqtch Salesforce for Outlook: Field Mapping for "Related To" and "Name" for Events
Hi,
I have created an Outlook-AddIn which enables our users to assign opportunities and accounts to events (very similar to the old "Connect for Outlook" Addin). We are using Outlook 2010, so we cannot use the old AddIn anymore.
As far as I know the mappings should be as follows:
- "Related To" => WhatId
- "Name" => WhoId
But if I try to create a new custom mapping (like with other fields) and I select "Related To" in the Outlook configuration on SFdC there is no possibility to define a field name of Outlook.
What am I missing here?
Isn't this possible?
Is not, is there a workaround?

Our users are also asking for some type of mapping be available on the RelatedTo field from Salesforce side to the Outlook side. Is there a solution for this?
