CTI Integration with Salesforce

Please let me know the Process/Steps required to achieve CTI Integration with Salesforce.

There are a couple things.

 

1. You need to ensure you have the Service Cloud licenses.

2. There are AppExchange CTI Adapters that you can install for all the major CTI providers (Cisco, Avaya, etc) - http://www.appexchange.com and search (CTI) or (Telephony).

3. You can use the Open CTI Toolkit on SFCD to build your own CTI integration.  http://wiki.developerforce.com/page/Open_CTI

You just need to have a developer account on Salesforce followed by a bit of configuration steps to enable the CTI controls of your existing telephony system inside Salesforce. The manual process of configuring a CTI gadget can be complex.
