Having to Sign on SFDC when clicking on opportunity link

Everytime I click on an opportunity link, I have to sign on to SFDC eventhough I'm already sign on to another session. I know there is a way around this but don't know how. If anyone has the solution, I greately appreciate it.

Does the URL look like this:

https://login.salesforce.com/?startURL=/recordID
 
This forces the user to login, as opposed to:
 
https://na1.salesforce.com/recordID
 
which will take you to the record, assuming the default browser is already logged in.

I don't understand, is this a Visualforce page that has a link to an opportunity?

Thanks for your reply. This is from an email notification my coworkers and I receive based on the workflows I've created.
