How to change the default report to display in Standard object home page

Hi,

 

Would like to ask how to change/remove the reports to display in standard object home page (Account, Lead etc.)

Sorry those lists are not configurable.  You would have to contstruct the entire page using Visualforce.

I'm new to salesforce development. I had custom profile in my instance, on the Tools section, it is render by profile - Administrative permission/ General user permission.

 

Do you have an example on how can I render the Tools to be displayed based on the pemission setting on the custom profile?
