COMPLEX REPORT - SAMPLE APEX/ VISUAL FORCE CODE


I need to build a complex report (multi level, custom formatting and printable) in Sales Force.
I guess I'll have to use Visual Force/ APEX. Can anyone provide me any sample code? Any directions?
I know how to create visual force pages and APEX triggers.

an easier option would be to simply use Crystal Reports or another tool that can connect to the SF data using the Enterprise WSDL.

Creating comlex reports using Apex is something challenging. So as Enth said, it is better to use a 3rd party app. like crystal report.

If you have a little knowledge on creating VF pages, try to install the trial version of following native app. By looking at their VF templates you could be able to get an idea.
