Visualforce to Excel Tabs

Is there anyway to create a visualforce page that will create a document in excel with tabs?

hi i dont think visualforce has capability to render as excel.

I know you can using contenttype="application/vnd.ms-excel". I'm not sure if you can create one document with several tabs from salesforce though.
