Same VF page in edit and delete mode

hi,

 

I have a custom object, Leave_Application__c now when i click on edit button of  Leave_Application__c record  den i shd get  a custom VF page in edit mode and after that when i save a record i shd get the same VF page in detail mode

 

Is this possible??

Plz tell me how

You will have to create two different pages: one for the edit and and one for the detail view of the record.

yes I did so ,I created two pages used page block in them and set the attribute of page block in edit mode and detail mode but the functionality of both page is same
