Visualforce page on an iPad

I have created a custom Visuaforce component for opportunity page layout. When i open the page on an iPad, i dont see the VF component. When i tried to view the component as a seperate tab, it opens up like a safari web page instead of a mobile web page.

Any suggestions ? ?

Are you expecting to see this embedded in the record view in the ipad application?  I don't think that you can do this with the ipad app, but you can create a visualforce tab that contains the page.

Yes, i want to see it on the opportunity record. I see everything else except this visualforce part. If i want to view it as a separate tab, would it display like a safari web page instead of a mobile web page?

Is there a way i can get this displayed by using visualforce mobile components?

If you make it a visualforce tab it should display inside the application rather than opening a new page in safari.
