leads is not a valid child relationship name for entity Opportunity

"xxxx"  is not a valid child relationship name for entity Opportunity ... why i am getting this kind of error message and what is the solution

This means that you've tried to refer to a related list with either the wrong name or one that doesn't exist.

 

In this case its because Lead doesn't have a lookup relationship to Opportunity, thus you can't access a related list (child relationship) of Leads.
