Is This Possible?

Hi Guys,

 

 I have Requirement, In opportunity object we have field Stage,

Where Stage='Prospecting' those records only visible to the perticuler profile(Custom Profile) Users.

other records(Stage not equel to Prospecting) should not visible to that Profile Users .

 

Please let me know Guys.

make opportunity object as private and write a sharing rule based on the stage value and assign to a public group which represents all the people belongs to the profile that u want to configure....but one thing if you are making private means one user will have access to his records only.......

Yes I was just looking in the same way.....

But we have lot of Profiles....for all we need to write sharing rules...
