Images without an extension inside of salesforce do not showing

I am able to show images, with no file extension, in my force site.

 

However, I am not able to show that same image inside of salesforce on a record detail page.

 

Any one ever get around, or experience this?

I just figured out the problem. I was only getting the 15 digit ID. But I was storing the 18 digit ID.

So basically,  I had the wrong filename.

Hello,

 

Are you attaching images to the record detail page or you have a visualforce page where you are listing down images.

 

Please elaborate.
