Enable Sites

How to enable sites in my organisation?

To display the page you need to give access, for this :

 

Go To your site > there you can see Site Visualforce Pages section > Edit it and select your custom visualforce page.

 

After saving try hitting your site, and let me know if you still get any error.

This is bit simple, Goto > Setup > AppSetup > Develop > Sites > Create your site here.

 

Make sure that you give some logical name as this name can not be change later.

Thank you Ankit_Arora for your quick reply. I have created site as you suggested, now I have a custom visualforce page name DisplayAccount. I want to show this when user hits my site, how is this possible?

Go to your site and click edit > Now Select your visualforce page from lookup in "Active Site Home Page" > Save.

 

Now when you hit the site it will display your page.

Can someone tell me why the "Site" option is not available when I go to "My Name > Setup > Develop ... " ?

Hi All,

 

I also faced the same issue. Please let me know whether the 'Site' is available for Force.com light version or not. I have registered for the trial org, but could not find the 'Site' option in Setup-->Develop.
