Chatter search on keywords not returning feeds from private groups

I am not able to search the private groups using the #tag search or any search - is anything wrong with my settings? or is it the desired functionality?

What do you mean you can't search like #tag?

BTW, so far you can't search on a specific Chatter Group, but search in all Chatter feed.
