CMSForce app error in installation
Hello,
I want to install CMSForce app in order to easily build and design new visual force sites.
Unfortunately, I get this error while trying to install this app:
Hi ,
After your post, I tried installing CMSforce in one of my Developer Org and it was successful.
I would suggest you to reinstall the app. If it again throws the same error, get in touch with salesforce support.
Please mark it as the solution if it answers your question.
Ckeck My Blog
Hello,
Salesforce support said that they don't support this app error, and I need to consult with the community or salesforce labs.
I tried different links that were suggested in other posts here , but they all gave the same error.
What can I do different ?
I realy need this app so I could easily design a site I made and give it a look and feel of my company.
Is there another easy way to do it without the app ?
Thanks a lot,
Eyal
Hi ,
I know they do not support force.com lab products. But you need to ask them about 838506144-2781 (1733437376) .
This is the error code.
I would suggest you not to ask salesforce support to support "cmsforce". Instead ask them to find out the details of this stack trace ID
838506144-2781 (1733437376)
BTW, are you aware of visualforce and force.com sites ?
I will ask them as you suggested.
Yes I am aware of sites and visualforce
I created a site that contains a visualforce page that I have also created.
However, I dont succedd to give it the look and feel of my company.
If you can help me to find a good exmaple of the Code of a visuale force page ( with the header ... )
so I can see how I should implement it for my comany, it would be great
Thanks a lot,
Eyal
Can you share the link from where you are trying to install the app ?
The original link is :
http://appexchange.salesforce.com/listingDetail?listingId=a0N30000001SlHNEA0
The link in the community that suppose to overcome the error:
https://login.salesforce.com/?startURL=%2Fpackaging%2FinstallPackage.apexp%3Fp0%3D04t80000000pVj8
and another one I copied the relevant part from the post:
- install with 'ignore test failures' checked
- install from this link : http://bit.ly/hu22dz (= a patched CMSForce2 version where I've commented out the offending test line)
Thanks
Eyal
