Mass enable customer portal licences

Hi

 

We have a bunch of contacts that we would like to provide access to our customer portal.  All ready to go but we want to "mass enable" them rather than one at a time

 

any idea if this can be done and if so how

As far as I know - this is still a manual process.  There are no API calls that I can find through a quick reference.
