Having multiple guest profiles, or giving different access to different users on a force.com site.

Hi.

 

Is it possible to have multiple guest profiles for a force.com site?

 

I have to create a force.com site and give read only access to one group of users while another group of users needs to be given read/write access.

Any way this can be done?

A guest profile is per definition for a guest user. And a guest user is an unauthorized user! So only one group of unauthorized user will access your site --> the unauthorized users ....  How you will determine if an unnown user belongs to a specific group if you do not have the right information in place?

Okay so if I need to seggregate the unauthorised users into two groups - one having say read only access and the other having read/write access over a custom object via a site, there is no way I can do this?

The users are to be grouped based on say, their system IP address.
