display of content in site.com is not working.

I am trying to displsy content in Site.com but I am not able to use content management in Site.com.

I want to display a file with is present in content object of Salesforce. I am using Datatable for making the connection with Salesforce and it is working with Account, Contect and another object but it is not working with Content object.

I am not finding this available with a data table and the Site profile. You might want to look into presenting the data a different way using Force.com or Content Deliveries.

Hi Anjana,

 

If you want to display a custom object from Salesforce in your site.com site, then you need to give read permission to the guest user of the site.  When you set up your data connection, the dialog should have a link to the guest user profile.  Click on it to view and edit the guest user profile to have Read permission for the custom object.

Are you referring to the Standard Content objects? Or, is this a Custom Object? If it's Custom, then follow Addison's reply.

I logged a case but I do not get any answer. I told them that there are one permission on guest profile (Salesforce CRM content user) and we can not give this premission on the guest profile. I asked that it is happening because of this. they said yes and when I asked for more information and clearification, then they told me that please log case from premire support. Salesforce cannot provide the support for basic support.
