Single Sign-on Vs multiple sandboxes

Hi, 

 

Just curious, how different sandboxes are differentiated when single singon is implemented and user logs into the LAN and types in http://test.salesforce.com   :smileyindifferent:

Just like production, each SAML configuration is given a unique URL in the system.   So for example, you might have

 

https://test.salesforce.com/?saml=MgoTx78aEPuSRWRL0JOLQnPZ6A2d3JL13crbYKQ0B8yPEQBHJE

 

The parameter uniquely identifies your configuration in that environment.
