Report security - restrict data access

I apoligize in advance if this question has been previously answered.

 

We have an issue with users running reports on peer's productivity.

 

Is there a way to set up security so that users can see cases regardless of who owns them, but not run reports on cases that they don't own?

You can remove the following Profile permissions:

- Manage Public Reports

- Manage Custom Report Types

- Create and Customize Reports

- Report Builder

 

Leave the "Run Reports" permission.  This should limit users to only running reports that an Admin has set up.

 

If Users have the ability to see the Cases and create/customize reports, they can make reports for anything they have access to.
