How to make use of Site.com in Salesforce

Can anyone please explain me the use of Site.com, when exactly there is a use of Site.com in Salesforce

Hi,

 

Site.com is one of the feature provided by salesforce. We can create Website using site.com(not web application).

 

Simply,We can create static website with minimal dynamic features.

 

Also its providing the great feature like content managment and all

Site.com is used (just like Force.com Sites) to expose content for public use. Site.com allows business users without a deep knowledge of web technologies to publish content. So you could display product catalogs or event registration type pages or just static content etc. You can do this just as well through Force.com Sites which does not provide a Content Management System type interface but is typically available without any additional licensing.
