ERROR: STORAGE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED

Hello,

I'm trying to insert a new data in my org but every time it appears the STORAGE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED ERROR. I checked my company limits  and I only used 10% of my capacity. I've already cleaned my trash bin.

What should I do to solve this problem?

Limits:

DATA - Total: 1,0 GB --  Used: 106,2 MB

FILES - Total:  1,0 GB --  Used: 1,1 GB

The problem here is that you have exceeded your file storage by using 1.1GB out of a limit of 1.0Gb.

If either limit is exceeded you will get this error message and be unable to insert records - we see this a lot when testing CRM content in developer sandboxes.

Clear out some of your files and you should be good to go.

Thanks for your reply!

I'll try it! If it works, I'll let you know.

But theses limits shouldn't be independent of each other?

That's not how it works - as soon as you breach one storage limit, your org is effectively read only.

  1. Increase your data storage by contacting Salesforce Support Team
  2. Delete unneeded data/files.
