In site.com - is it possible to display data from another database using web services

Hi There,

 

Please let me know, in site.com - if it is possible to display data from another database using web services 

i.e the data is not stored in the SFDC database

Hello,

 

As per my understanding you can not directly integrate any other application with site.com, what you can do is integrate that application with salesforce using any integration technique (SOAP or REST) and then you can show the content the data from other application in site.com.

You can create a visualforce page to show data and you can add it on portal.
