cmcc333 Multiple organisations logging in to your force.com application
I am building an application that will be available on the web for companies to register with and use. They will all log in through the same public URL.
I will want an admin in each company to be able to manage their users.
Is the best practice to have multiple force.com deployments behind the scenes with each company allocated to one. I.e. when they log in they will only ever have access to their own information.
Or is it possible to handle usage by multiple organisations within one instance.
All thoughts appreciated.

You may be able to accomplish this with Delegated Admins, but I wouldn't recommend it. What you're suggesting may also be against the Salesforce.com Terms or Service (I'm not an attorney though.) If your purpose is to create an application and sell it, check out the AppExchange partner program. Your application could be installed in any customer's existing organization.
If you are trying to re-sell new organizations with specific applications and configurations, check out the OEM partner program.
