Workflow

Hello,

 

How would I create a workflow when a picklist value only changes when 3 monthes has pasted. And either creates a task or an email.

 

Any helps?

Hi,

 

Yes, you can create a workflow where the criteria will be set to trigger  when the picklist value is changed and is now equal to what it should be after 90 days.

 

You can set up an email alert to the notify the opportunity owner as described in the links below:

Hi SC,

 

I understand that you wish to trigger a workflow 90 days after a picklist value is changed.

 

Following is one option:

Step 1 ) Create a date field which should be auto filled in when the picklist value is updated by the user(using workflow)

Step 2) Create another workfollow with condition such that it is triggered 90 days after this date(in step 1) is  updated.

Hello Sonam,

 

Thank you very much to take the time to reveiw my post about Workflow. When Opp is created the picklist value is set and when  time has past like (90 days) that same picklist, the value will automaticaly change and then an alert is be sent to the Opp Owner.

 

Is this possible?
