Tracking Opportunity Product changes

Hi!
 
We are on Professional edition of Salesforce. I need to run a report that can help track the change of opportunity products.
I've spoken to Salesforce and they suggested exploring S-control. Any idea how I can go about doing this?
 
Any suggestions / ideas is appreciated!

Actually an S-control is unlikely to work for this as it would require API access, which you presumably do not have in PE.  You might want to look at some products on the AppExchange, like maybe Carousel or Jasper.  If you upgrade to EE you'll have custom report types and analytics snapshots which may help you achieve what you're trying to do.
