Integration with salesforce.com

Hi,

 

We have a web application developed using java and would like to integrate salesforce.com with our websites. Can anyone tell me the procedure (technically) or steps that needs to be followed.

I would start here: http://developer.force.com/gettingstarteddevelopers

 

Take a look at that and decide which API you'll be using. Make sure you sign up for a developer account, http://developer.force.com/. This will give you access to all versions of the API so you can start developing.
