following error displaying.

"Insufficient Privileges
You do not have the level of access necessary to perform the operation you requested. Please contact the owner of the record or your administrator if access is necessary."

I haven't any record types in profiles permissons on account for portal user is private.

Any body knew this requirement Please help me.

Thank you

There is a standard object called "AccountShare", please extract the data from the object and update with "Edit" for "AccountAccessLevel" field.

The issue will be solved. Please let me know if still getting issue after update!

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. But where exactly it will do? Can you please

explain in brief.

Thank you

nbknbk

The Accountshare object have all accounts information along with contacts and Opportunity securtiy level.

Some of the Contact users have "Read" permission in Account share object due to this you getting "Insufficient privilieges" message.

we ran into same issue previously due to Parnter portal licence limit exceeded, in the meantime few of the suppliers has been registetered in the site with "Read" permission. So whenever the user try to update/crate contact/account getting to "Insufficient" issue.

We updated with "edit" on AccountAccesslevel the issue got solved.

The other option to fix the issue is change the Account object permissions from Private to "Public/Read Write" in Organization wide defaults.

Hi,

thanks for your reply, Am sorry I have confusion with account share object

my client requirement don't change private to public, So can i change

any sharing rules.

nbknbk

Yes, you can create sharing rule on "Account sharing rules".

share with All Parnter Users ->

Default Account, Contract and Asset Access - Read/Write

Opportunity Access/Case Access - Private

Hi,

Thank you it is working. But Am i restricting records to portal users

using role hierarchy?

for example my partner portal user view all records but he willn't

access system admin records or admin profile user records

clicking on that records show error message.

Is it possible?

Thanks for your reply.
