Force.com AIR Explorer

Does anyone know if SFDC is going to continue this application?  It still has a few issues, but is a vast improvement over the original APEX explorer.  If not, I think that should be announced so that we can look for other avenues.  I've found that the Workbench tool has issues as well with complicated SOQL's, so we really need to know what the future is of this tool.

I have heard rumors that their AIR development teams have moved on to other things, so I wouldn't count on it being updated.

 

They are focused on the Developer Console right now, but I highly recomend using the Workbench or IDE if the Explorer is acting up on you.

It would be nice if SalesForce said this publicly so that we could make some decisions in the field. I know the AIR Apex Explorer was a proof of concept type thing with AIR because of their alliance, but something official needs to come out. Workbench has problems hanging with certain SOQL's, and IDE can't copy/paste the results or show counts. AIR comes packaged with a database implementation of SQL Lite. You can create tables, views, insert and delete statistics, and run queries. The flash.Records package has everthing you'll need to do that on this site (https://bestaircompressorguru.com/).
