I could not find the AJAX toolkit for download anywhere. Can somebody please provide me the link.

This doesn't answer the question. The link provided is the documentation, not a link to download the AJAX toolkit as requested by the user. Please provide a download link here so that future googlers will find the place to download the AJAX toolkit.

@aalbert, why do you provide a link to the documentation when the question was were to download the toolkit? Read before answering anything, you idiot.

Anyway, for those wondering "where to download the toolkit", the question should be instead "where to find the toolkit", and you can find it on your salesforce server.
For example, if your salesforce's server address is "https://naX.salesforce.com", you can fin the file located at "https://naX.salesforce.com/soap/ajax/32.0/connection.js" (32.0 is the actual latest version, but you may want to check if there is a newer version available).
