hi all,
can user be restricted from exiting edit page without saving?
means if user clicks on any other tab or link or button on page , an error message should appear.

I don't believe this is possible using the standard functionality. I suppose you could build a custom UI to accomplish this but that seems like an aweful lot of work.

jchenI don't think so. It means that the edit page itself has the script to listen page change. Meaning I has to be one of the field in the page, not a button. I don't recall you can make a field that runs script.
