How to nsert carriage returns with Data Loader

Since a carriage return signifies the end of a record in a csv file, how do you insert a carriage return as data in a field using the Data Loader?  A good example is the Shipping and Billing Street fields in Accounts which allow carriage returns in Salesforce.

In case anyone else is interested.  To upload a carriage return or line feed character.  Enclose the field containing the carriage return with double quotation marks.  The Data Loader will then upload the special characters.  Note, you should not include double quotes in any fields as data it will confuse the Data Loader.  I generally replace any double quotes in data fields with single quotes prior to uploading.

If you double quote escape your double quotes, they should work as well.  ""  instead of "  in the data.
