Hi everyone!

I’m currently learning and exploring the Salesforce tech stack from past 9 months, and I’ve really been enjoying the journey so far. I've explored many features including Admin functionalities, Apex, Triggers, Flows, Validation Rules, Process Builder, and more. I’m working on building my foundation strong, and I’m aiming to start my career as a Salesforce Developer soon.

I wanted to ask:

- How much real-time experience (in months or years) is usually expected before switching to another company as a Salesforce Developer?

- Also, what key skills or certifications are generally preferred when making that first switch?

Any guidance or personal experiences would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

Hello @MAHANTHESH R J, I would expect a developer to have at least the Admin certification, the App Builder, and the Platform Dev 1. Any other certification will be great.

You can look for internal / external positions on Salesforce development, as soon as you  have some experience (that you seem to have practically) and some projects where you have practiced what you have learned & explored so far, and have followed project methodology. Certifications will help you !

All the documentation for cumulusCI is referencing a github project that has not been touched in over 3 years and is actually archived

Since `sfdx` disappeared, my CI/CD pipeline has been very broken.  I am working as a volunteer and don't have a ton of time to devote to fixing this.

Why are the CumulusCI documentation and examples not updated after over 2 years of `sf` vs. `sfdx`?

    @Deborah Engelmeyer

that's a great question and I don't have the official answer but I know enough of the history to take a good guess. The shortest answer is resourcing and politics. To get a bit more specific Salesforce has made a lot of personnel and product changes that have impacted projects like this. Please know that I am bias to some degree since I was one of the ones laid off.

That being said, I still highly value and use CumulusCI myself and know that while it isn't getting the love it deserves, it still is quite useful.

As much as I am able I'd be happy to support. If you'd like to chat, feel free to schedule some time with me or post more details about what errors you're getting. Also, there have been some other conversations in this group about the transition to sf from sfdx so those may be useful.

    Hello @HARSHITHA DEEPTHIMAHANTI

you should find it (and be able to add it to the topic) when following these instructions :

Add an Action to Validate Customer Details

For security purposes, the agent needs to validate that the customer is who they say they are. In this case, the agent validates key contact details such as email and membership number.

    1. With the This Topic’s Actions subtab still selected, click New and select Create New Action.
    2. Select Flow as the Reference Action Type.
    3. For Reference Action, select Get Customer Details.
    4. Leave the other options as is, and click Next.
    5. Uncheck the box labeled Show loading text for this action.
    6. For email, check Require Input.
    7. For memberNumber, check Require Input.
    8. For contact, check Show in conversation.
    9. Click Finish.

Hello everyone.

Is it possible for one to get a job using superbadges only and not having certificates? And how does one get an apprenticeship?

    Hello @Sibongiseni Ngcobo

, that depend on your experience (for example if you have previous IT experience / business experience in the same industry / already worked - configured a CRM event if it was not Salesforce).

I would say that getting an Administrator Certification (or a business cloud-oriented one) will give you better chances.

Hello @Towsiq Shaik try to provision the playground with a personal email address. Maybe you have a URL defense protection system analyzing your emails but spoling the link to click from your username validation email. Eric
