in office/out of office

Anyone know , how to set up in office and out of office in the calenda ?

On the Event Edit/New screen, use pick list for "Show Time As" field and choose "Out of Office".

This is excellent!  Thank you - I was struggling with the same thing. 

Does anyone know if there's a way to sync this with Outlook when using the Outlook Edition? I've tested this out and the information for this field doesn't appear to write into the record when I sync SFDC with what I've entered my Outlook.

Also... any ideas on how to make other scheduling options available (eg. billable day, non-billable day, prep time).  I don't think I can customize this field, .. just wondering if there's a work around for similar scheduling needs.

This is useful but how can you tell if the user is out of office with work flow rules?

We need a boolean on the user record that uses the event out of office status to determine its value.
