Setting up a partner portal

I have been asked to create our own partner portal.

I have followed the SalesForce PDF and got the Java and Tomcat bits working.

What do I need to do next and how do I do it?

I am unable to login to the website, is there are default admin password

First, you should have a trail account for salesforce.com, after you login the system, remember to create a user with Customer:Partner role. Then, try to login the parter portal with the new created user.

Sorry, as you have the account to access salesforce.com already, just create the user with CUSTOMER:PARTNER only, and you can login the partner portal using the partner user account.

My company has already an enterprise portal running. In addition to that we have set up a partner portal, but login fails. Can we use our enterprise logins or do we need another user with a partner login to enter the partner portal?
 
If so, can we set up such a user ourselves? Or do we have to obtain one from salesforce?
