Salesforce - tranferring Accounts back to Leads?

In Salesforce, is there anyway to transfer Accounts back to Leads? I know you can convert Leads to Accounts but I need to know if it can work the other way. Please advise.

The process to convert lead to account/contact can't be reversed with the out of the box functionality.
Now, that does not mean it is impossible to have it done, but that would hav eto be custom code.
