Looking up records

Hi All,

I am not very good at Excel. Please help me with this.

Can I pull contact records from SFDC, using XL connector based on a column which I already have in my Excel?

You can only query salesforce data based on values in salesforce fields.  If I understand what you're asking correctly, you could write an excel formula to put your value in the appropriate spot in the salesforce query that the connector puts into the spreadsheet, although this might be more work than you're looking for...
